GlyphFolio works fully offline and never needs an account. Your library lives on your machine, not behind a login.
A desktop app built around search, tags and notebooks, so you find things as quickly as you wrote them.

Linked Folders
Most note apps want to import your files into a private database. GlyphFolio links to the folders you already have, on disk or through a cloud plugin, so your files stay where you put them and in the format you chose.

Plugins
Connect Dropbox, Google Drive and Box through plugins. Every package is signed, verified against GlyphFolio's public key before install, and runs in an isolated process. Provider credentials stay with GlyphFolio's broker, never inside a plugin.
GlyphFolio Cloud
Sign in from the app to sync your library between computers. Changes are applied in order, retried safely on bad networks, and never required. Cloud Sync is protected by TLS and encryption at rest; it is not end-to-end encrypted.
Your notes stay yours.
